The Inflammatory Bowel Disease Center at Digestive Health Specialists is committed to helping patients with Ulcerative Colitis and Crohn’s Disease, improve their health. We actively manage over 2,500 patients with IBD.
Many of our patients with Ulcerative Colitis and Crohn’s Disease have mild symptoms and do well with routine follow up and minimal medications. However for some, the disease can become a daily challenge, requiring close and coordinated medical care along with intensive medical therapy. Our team of IBD providers strives to help every patient return to good health without the long-term use of corticosteroids. At times, we are unable to reach that goal despite advanced medical therapy with today’s most sophisticated and proven treatments. Nevertheless, our team remains dedicated to working with individual patients to help them live a full and healthful life.
The IBD Center is also here to assist patients and families touched with IBD, gain access to educational resources, comprehensive support services and specialized medical care. We believe you should never have to face IBD alone. The Pacific Northwest Chapter of the CCFA, local support groups and individual patient mentors are all available to help in your healing. We have built and nurtured local and national relationships with the regions best surgeons, radiologists and nutritional specialists and utilize this access to help enhance your care.
We understand that improved patient outcomes can be constrained by challenges with payment for necessary care. We have a dedicated and knowledgeable billing staff uniquely qualified to help you navigate the health care system, from securing reimbursement for biological therapy to approval and payment for clinic visits and endoscopic procedures.
We are in the process of expanding our clinic facilities as well adding providers to our IBD team. Our goal is simple – to improve the quality of life and measurable health outcomes of patients and families affected by IBD and to do so with integrated, high touch and empathetic evidence-based care.
We look forward to being on your team and providing you and your family the best in Inflammatory Bowel Disease care.
